               I´ve always had a passion for making people feel well, which is why i began my professional life as a certified nurse here in peru. While i was working to pay for my studies and volunteering in a nearby clinic for practical experience and studying i began to suffer severe back pain.   After having tried

pain medication to no avail, a friend suggested that i meet a friend of hers from india, travelling through my country. The man gave me a back massage and i was dumbfounded to discover that all my pain had disappeared. The very next day i went to him and told him that i wanted to learn how to make people feel better. As i began to study with him, he complimented me on my technique but also on the warmth of my hands.

At that point a very prestigious cusco spa was recruiting certified nurse’s with the intent of training them more fully as massage therapists. I was hired at prestigious cusco spa and the owner, lourdes, completed my education with shiatsu, sport massage, reflexology, weight loss massage, and andean energetic massage. I worked for many years at prestigious cusco spa and was promoted to administrator but i still practiced massage therapy for my very loyal clientele. My incan heritage has also taught me much about natural healing herbs, plants and flowers and now i integrate the knowledge of my ancestors with my scientific knowledge acquired from nursing of the human body as well as the rich and varied techniques i acquired through years of experience.

My experience has taught me that nature´s bounty is best for many treatments including, exfoliation, facials, manicures and pedicures and all other spa treatments. Plants such as coca leaf, chirichiri, bee´s honey, mint, eucalyptus, camomile, and valerian root are just some of my basic tools for healing and soothing. Now that i have founded my own spa, i intend to continue to dedicate myself to the well-being of my clientele.
